Welcome!

My name is Cláudia Ramos Monteiro, and I write mostly about theology. My imagination has been shaped by a mix of Portuguese and North American culture, and a mix of secularism and Christianity in a couple of strands (Protestantism and Catholicism). If your upbringing was more homoegenous, you probably wouldn’t know that this makes for a bit of a mess, one I am now trying to untangle.

There’s a bit of a mess in language too: some of the texts you find here are in English, some in European Portuguese—which is fine if you speak both languages and confusing if you don’t. My apologies, and thank you for bearing with me.
